21st Century Little Mesters in Sheffield

Spaceworks is located Harland Works on John Street in Sharrow, between Bramall Lane and London Road. Its an area with an interesting history, present and hopefully future ...

Sophy (Cadence Works and Third Sector Cafe) above is shown working in our second shared office space that we have set up to give our 21st Century Little Mesters more space to craft a living. In the Sheffield tradition we rent out space to self-employed people using their skills. There are still people in the building next door (Portland Works) making knives, but there are also people making music, art, architectural plans, websites.

The great works buildings have always been built round a courtyard and we have one here that we are looking to use a venue for a whole range of events that makes this an area people want to come to work, rest and play in. The courtyard is also a place for all the people who work around here to chat over coffee and even plan collaborations or just trips to the pub.

If you are a 21st Century Little Mester than maybe you can come and try us out and help us get the new office shipshape.

Give us a bell!
