The new owners of Cafe Euro are instigating a quiet, but significant revolution in John Street. You can still get lovely homemade chips and a grand cup of coffee. But, you can also get a fab selection of daily soups for £3 each and some stunning cakes.

We are putting on weight (or would be if we did not cycle rapidly along Abbeydale Rd each day) and a re very happy. Working at Spaceworks has got even better ....

Cycling down Abbeydale Road in the amazingly warm Autumnal sunshine, saying hi to the growing band of cycle communters in Sheffield was a nice start to the day ... leaving behind kids at schools and pre-schools, the dishwasher working hard, the washing machine spinning ... all part of the transition to work-mode that having a space at Spaceworks helps with.

Hoping someone has put the coffee on and the as you slow down to come through the gate and park your bike, what a lovely sight this was 'Try our homemade cakes'. It would be rude not to!

The new owners of Cafe Euro, near CCC/Go Outdoors on John Street and most importantly sharing our courtyard, are gradually transforming the place into somewhere that it is hard to pass. Its not just their cakes too (ideal for that 2pm meeting) or bacon sandwiches, they've got some nice beers too ...

Anyway, safe to say its helping make Spaceworks an even nicer place to work and share an office space. Come down and meet us to have a look and share a bun!

Spadework - no Spaceworks!

We were telling someone about Spaceworks the other day and they said it all sounded great, but what do they all do? Spell check often comes up with spadework when it is mis-typed, which sounds satisfyingly like real work.

Sometimes a lot of modern businesses can seem like they are doing things that are less tangible than the good old days, but when you get to understand what they really do it all makes more sense. The nice thing about sharing is that you do get to find out about areas you had no idea about. Even better you get sent free pen samples saying Spaceworks! Now that is exciting.
